A workflow includes workflow states, such as New, Edit, etc. The DESK workflow is based on teams and roles. The role determines whether a change in a workflow state can be applied by the user. DESK has a number of default common workflow schedules. New, customised schemes can be added easily.
Not all content requires the same workflow. In DESK, any type of content can have their own optimal worflow scheme. Content coming from external data sources, can also be processed based on an appropriate optimal workflow. In addition, Desk has the Desk® Proposal technology, which alerts the user when changes are made in reused content. This makes working with DESK highly efficient.
Suppliers can also be included in the DESK workflow in order to achieve optimal cooperation.
